    • Fitment: Jetson Bolt Pro

    • Your new/actual top speed will be influenced by various conditions, including battery voltage, rider weight, and road conditions. Adult riders typically report a 1-3 mph increase with the hack using the stock 36 volt battery. When paired with the 48 volt battery upgrade, some users have experienced gains of up to 23 mph.

    • A noteworthy advantage of removing the speed limiter on the stock battery is the continuous pedal assist beyond the stock speed limit of 13 mph. For an enhanced pedaling experience, consider upgrading to a larger front chainring, further amplifying the gains in pedal assist.

    Our Speed Limiter Hack is a straightforward plug-and-play unit, ensuring easy installation without the need for special wiring or modifications. Installation video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GhhT2SvLT4

    1. Remove rubber plugs covering the screws
    (keep note of each plug location as the plug sizes are different between some holes).

    2. Using a Philips #2 screwdriver, remove the battery cover screws.

    3. Locate the loose white 4-wire connector with orange, black, grey, and brown wire colors coming from the controller. It should not be connected to anything.

    4. Pay attention to the LED headlight in this step. Plug the flash unit into the connector and power on the JBP. Once plugged in, the LED headlight should blink twice. If the headlight does not blink twice, you will need to locate the Red reset button through the hole on the top cover and press it once while the unit is plugged in and powered on.

    5. Power Off the JBP. Grip onto the white plastic connector of the flash's wires, and unplug. Do NOT pull from the actual wires.

    6. Your JBP Stock Controller has now been hacked! Reinstall the battery cover and enjoy.
